The i83 GNSS features the third generation of CHCNAV GNSS antenna and the latest iStar algorithm, increasing the signal tracking efficiency of all GNSS signals by 30%. Additionally, a high-quality, calibration-free IMU sensor is integrated, which greatly improves the usability and reliability of RTK GNSS surveys.

The i83 GNSS electronics' ultra-low power SoC (system-on-chip) design and intelligent power management significantly improve the duration of GNSS surveys and eliminate the need for spare or external batteries. Up to 34 hours of autonomous operation is possible in GNSS RTK network rover mode and up to 16 hours as an RTK base station. The i83 GNSS can be charged via a power bank or a standard USB-C charger.
No matter where or when GNSS surveys are conducted, the i83 GNSS's magnesium alloy housing is shock, dust and water resistant to ensure uninterrupted performance even in the most demanding jobsite conditions.

Built-in 4G and UHF modems enable all GNSS survey modes, from RTK network NTRIP connections to UHF base rover configuration. GNSS RTK corrections are continuously retrieved or sent to ensure accurate positioning in all circumstances. The high-resolution color display provides a clear overview of the status of the i83 GNSS. Whether it is being set up as a UHF RTK base station, recording raw data for GNSS post-processing or simply used as a UHF or 4G network rover, it allows complete control of survey operations.
